For information on rallies and training  please click on the link below.

A rally is basically a lesson for a group of our members (normally a maximum of six in one session) with instruction by a pony club accredited instructor.  It may be either mounted or unmounted. The unmounted ones are usually for horse/pony care instruction – normally called stable management. Mounted rallies may be, for example, for mounted games, polo, racing, show jumping, cross country, flatwork (dressage) or sometimes a combination of two disciplines.   The types of rallies we hold together with dates and venues are given in the Rally and Training document (please scroll down to access).  This document tells you how to book in to any rallies you want to do.  Usually there are several sessions at each rally and you will only attend a 1 hour session – though this can vary. The actual specific start time for each member is normally given on the website two days before the rally. The time stated is the actual start time, so please arrive early so that you are tacked up and ready to ride. Parents are welcome to stay and watch at rallies, but the organisation of the rally is at the discretion of the Senior Instructor, Kim George.  Help from parents is needed at all events, especially when packing up at the end of a rally.  Please put your name forward if you feel you are able to help. We are all volunteers and need your support.
Please give your feedback after a rally, training or other event organised by WVPC-
please click here for the link

NB. Full payment is required (7 days in advance minimum) before you will be considered to have booked in to a rally/training session.  Payment will not be refunded if you cancel less than 7 days before the rally/training or if you just don’t turn up.

Please book in for rallies via this website using our Online Bookings page.  If you wish to pay/book in using an alternative method please contact the relevant rally organiser.
If you wish to pay via BACS, please use the reference “WVPC TET branch name” and transfer to account number 11307762, sort code 40-21-19, or please make cheques payable to “Wylye Valley PC”

Individual rally times can be found on the Rally Sub Page TIMES

Welcome to the Minis – aimed at children aged 3 to 9, and older children who are nervous or are wanting more experience with a new pony, are more than welcome to join in. ‘Minis’ is about having fun, meeting new friends, growing in confidence and learning how to ride and care for ponies. We try to have at least two rallies a month which are suitable for minis to participate in.  Some of the fun things we do are:

an Easter Bunny ride, musical rides, flat-work rallies, XC rallies, dismounted rallies, SJ rallies, picnic ride, Halloween Havoc rally, Christmas Pony Party and the highlight of the year, summer camp!

We are lucky to have a nice bunch of enthusiastic instructors.  Dismounted rallies usually take place at Southfield House where the children work towards an achievement badge relating to an aspect of pony care followed by a swim in the indoor pool which they are very privileged to use.

Mini Camp is by far the highlight of the year where the children and their ponies come for four days of fun and instruction at Southfield House in the summer holidays. It is a non-residential camp where parents help their children with riding activities and swimming.

The children love coming to camp and an improvement in their riding by the last day is generally noted and they go home tired and with lots of rosettes!

Any suggestions or ideas for future rallies are more than welcome so until then if you’re young and want to have fun then WYLYE VALLEY MINIS is the place to be, so join today!
