Since our conception in 1974 we have always ensured that the objectives of The Pony Club are at the heart of everything we do:
We’re one of the small Branches of The Pony Club which means that our Members of all ages and abilities know each other really well, and as a result they help and genuinely support one another in everything they do (mounted and unmounted) establishing strong friendships along the way which creates a wonderful family-feel to our Branch. We pride ourselves on being one of the most approachable, supportive and inclusive little Branches of The Pony Club, some of our Members have learning disabilities while others are competing at an international level for British Dressage Team GB.
We organise a variety of rallies and events (mounted and unmounted) for our Members throughout the year across our local area and into the neighbouring counties of Denbighshire, Fflintshire and Cheshire. All of which are arranged to cater for all riding abilities covering multiple disciplines such as show jumping, cross country, dressage, pole work, grid work and fun rides.
We also host a summer camp each year which takes place at Somerford Park Farm in Congleton, Cheshire. The benefit of being a small Branch means that all of our Members attend the same Camp which really establishes the feeling of being a large family.
Every year our Members compete in Area competitions and qualify for the National Championships in different disciplines, most recently Show Jumping and Dressage.
