Pony Club Area 14 – Dressage Leagues 2025/2026
We are delighted that Marcio Carvalho Jorge has offered a free lesson to each section winner in the Eventers league at his home in Baydon, Wiltshire, and that Lizzie Murray has offered a free lesson to each section winner in the dressage leagues at Catherton stud.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our members, I’m sure they require no further introduction however please read their biographies below:-
Marcio Carvalho Jorge is a Brazilian event rider, three-time Olympian and doctor of medicine. Based in Wiltshire, England, Marcio has represented Brazil at three Olympic Games, three World Championships and three Pan American Games, winning multiple team medals and individual silver at the 2023 Pan American Games. A three-time Badminton finisher, Marcio is trained by William Fox-Pitt and lives in Baydon, Wiltshire.
Lizzie Murray is a BHSI UKCC3 qualified instructor, BD3* International trainer and list 2 BD dressage judge with an exceptional international dressage career. A former Pony and Young rider European Championship team member, she competed internationally at senior level on nine horses and was reserve for the Atlanta Olympics. Her many achievements include victories at Hickstead CDIO, National, International, Music and Grand Prix. A highly respected coach, Lizzie has trained riders to success at all levels, including Badminton and Burghley winners and serves as Dressage Coach to the Eventing Equine Pathway and National Squad.
