Step 1 – Coaching Course – Report – 07/07/24

On Sunday 7th July, six participants completed the Introduction to Coaching Course Step 1, held at the White House, Meifod and delivered by Performance Coach Sally Jackson and Senior Coach Elspeth Carr.

The members were

• David Richardson from Anglesey
• Rhianna Meredith from Dolgellau
• Amber Bellis and
• Martha Williams from Flint and Denbigh and
• Eva Robson-Drew and
• Sara Robson from East Cheshire.

The morning was devoted to theory  and planning whilst the afternoon was spent teaching a group of younger members from Tanatside Pony Club.

All the participants worked with energy and enthusiasm and delivered some very useful end enjoyable coaching for younger members, both in Pony Care and Riding. We look forward to seeing you back again for Step 2, once you have logged up some coaching practice with your mentors.

It’s great to see older members progressing to coaching roles, and showing such confidence and maturity.
