Area 5 – Spring Festival Report – 05/03/25
The weekend of 1st and 2nd of March saw teams and individuals from many Branches across Area 5 make the rewarding journey to the Spring Festival Final at Addington Equestrian.
The Barrier Animal Health Spring Festival is a competition series for Dressage, Show Jumping and Arena Eventing.
There are levels for every competitive member depending on eligibility:
- Arena Eventing – 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 100cm
- Dressage – Grassroots PC80, Novice, Intermediate and Open
- Show Jumping – 80cm, 90cm, 100cm and 110cm
All members needed to qualify through our Area 5 Competitions to get to the final.

Tanatside members who took second in the 80 SJ at the Spring Festical on Saturday. Our team were: Douglas Ibison riding Chanel Poppy Launder-Collins riding Farleaze Lord Prenwyn Mabel Hodginkson riding Keltic Diamond Diva

They all recorded double clears, one of only two teams to do so. Douglas had a busy day as he was also riding Ciffig Lloyd in the 90 class when he just had 8 faults.
