As 2024 draws to a close, we reflect on what an incredible year it has been!
Next week, we’re excited to attend the London International Horse Show, where plenty of activities await. Make sure to visit us at the Bag Drop and the Live Zone, and don’t forget to cheer on our young members participating in the Mini Major Competition on Wednesday, 18th December. Plus, take advantage of discounted tickets using the code included in this update.
Finally, we encourage everyone to complete The Pony Club Survey. The deadline has been extended to 31st December 2024, giving you more time to provide valuable feedback that will help us continue enhancing The Pony Club experience for all.

Equine Herpes Virus Outbreak in France
|
British Equestrian and our member bodies are currently monitoring a reported outbreak of Equine Herpes Virus (EHV-1 – neurological form) in France.
EHV-1 is an air-borne disease that can be transmitted up to five metres via coughing, but also through direct contact, via people and shared equipment.
It
can cause respiratory and neurological signs, abortion in pregnant mares and
death of young foals.
This is a reminder to remain extra vigilant when caring for and travelling your horses, especially abroad.
