Wow – Senior Home International Tetrathlon

Congratulations to Oliver Loud of the Wynnstay for achieving first place in the Open Boys Tetrathlon class at the Senior Home International Tetrathlon Championships which were held at Pontispoolon the 7th – 9th of August.

Olly has just returned from competing in Australia for 3 weeks as part of the Pony Club GB Tetrathlon team.

Olly was joined on the podium with Jack Perrott of the Tiverton Hunt, riding Penhill Touch of Class taking second place and Arthur Webb of the South West and Wiltshire Hunt riding I Carlos in third place.

Olly achieved a 900 shoot score, 946 swim (10L 17 mtrs) and a clear XC optimum 1400 ride score.

Only two of the twenty four Senior boys competitors achieved the optimum ride score; securing both first and second place in the competition.

Olly was the only Area 5 competitor to achieve a 1400 ride score on his horse Arko’s Lad.

Well done Olly – such a great achievement.
