Tack & Turnout:
Member Turnout:
Rallies: We wear Pony Club sweatshirts with dark coloured or beige jodphurs and brown or black boots. If you are representing the club please wear a white collared shirt and pony club tie under your sweatshirt. If you are at a club rally you can wear your collared shirt and tie or your hunt t-shirt (which you’ll get when you come to camp). Hair is to be worn in a hairnet with a pony club scrunchie.
If you wear short jodphur boots you need to wear joddy clips that match.
For unmounted rallies, e.g. quiz, please wear your PC Sweatshirt with black leggings or trousers and clean trainers with your white collared shirt and PC tie.
Bennachie Club Clothing is available online from GG Gear : Bennachie Pony Club Clothing
Stocks, matching scrunchies, stock pins and PC badges : The club carries a small stock of PC related items so please email us if you need anything, otherwise they are available to purchase online from Wainwrights Screen Printers : Pony Club Essentials, Ties, Badge, Scrunchies
Horse/Pony Tack:
For Pony Club we use plain brown or black tack that is clean and in good repair. Tack rules vary for different disciplines so please always check the PC Rulebooks, Activity Rulebooks | The Pony Club UK, for information on bits, bridles, stirrups, boots, what the member should wear, etc before going to rallies and competitions.
PC Saddlepads or Numnahs are plain (no logos or bling) brown, black, white, navy, contrasting piping is permitted.
Horses and ponies should be groomed and any area were tack is fitted should be clean of mud or debris that could rub.
Hats:
ALL riding hats HAVE to have a hat tag.
Your hat will be tagged the first time you come to ride with the club. We will check the kitemarks in the hat to ensure the hat complies with the Pony Club Hat Safety Rules.
When you shop for a new hat for your member please make sure you read the PC Hat Rules, Hat-Rule-1, and always make sure that the hat you buy has a secure kite mark that cannot come off the hat. If we cannot find a kite mark in the hat we cannot give the hat a tag.
The hat tag stays on your hat and shows any judge or organiser that your hat is Pony Club compliant and safe.
