Working Rallies
Working rallies are open to all members, and are an essential basis for all training and development. Riders are grouped by ability/age as appropriate, and the lesson will usually have a focus on flatwork and/or incorporate show jumping.

Generally speaking, Chief Coach Sarah Hance will teach at these rallies. This gives Sarah the chance to get to know all our members well: this is especially important when it comes to residential Summer Camp, where Sarah oversees ALL aspects of riding during the week for both Seniors, Juniors and Minis, and places riders into appropriate groups.  In the Cotswold Vale, team managers for dressage / SJ / eventing / games will also arrange rallies that focus on their particular sport, giving riders the opportunity to learn from different trainers, and these are also open to all. To find those dates, please go to the appropriate pages on this website.

The dress code for all working rallies: PC jumper or plain jumper, long sleeved shirt and PC tie, jodhpurs – no hoodies, no jewellery.  Back protectors are optional, except for x-country where they are compulsory.
