Chiddingfold Farmers PC Horse Trials, Munstead, 2nd May

Many congratulations to our fantastic PC90 team of Kristian, India, Selina and Livi who won! They had some brilliant dressage scores and double clears. India also won her section individually, Kristian came 4th and Selina 8th. It was a really good day and we are extremely proud of them all. Go Cowdray!!

Bisley and Sandown Chase PC Tetrathlon, 18th April

Thanks to Arthur for representing Cowdray and having a great day! He was thrilled to receive a 4th rosette in the post.

Petersfield PC Hunter Trials, Fair Oak, 10th April

Well done to all of our members out at Fair Oak. We had lots of clear rounds and entries in every class. Very well done to Grace who came 2nd in the PC70 and Bronte who came 2nd in the Minimus. Great job girls!

 

Chiddingfold Farmers PC Easter Dressage, Eashing Farm, 5th April

Big well done to Evie, India, Livi and Selina (and their support teams) for braving very cold weather with snow flurries to compete in Easter Dressage. The Cowdray teams came 2nd in Grassroots and PC90 Eventing classes. Selina gained individual 4th place in her arena in GR, Livi 6th and India 7th. Livi was also placed 6th individually in PC90.

Chiddingfold Farmers PC Christmas SJ, Merrist Wood, 6th December

Great job done by Evie and Livi who both managed to qualify for the second rounds of the Spring Festival. Evie came 5th in the 80 Debut Qualifier and Livi came 4th in the 90 Novice Qualifier. Evie also came 8th in the 90. Very well done girls!

Petersfield PC Hunter Trials, Munstead 1st November

Petersfield Pony Club managed to squeeze in their Hunter Trials before lockdown 2 came into place. Well done to Livi who had a great clear in her first PC90 and came a very respectable 7th.

Lord Leconfield PC  Arena Eventing, Coombelands, 28th October

It was great to see Cowdray members braving the atrocious weather over half-term. There were some really lovely clear rounds despite the driving rain. A big well done to Livi and Alfie who won the PC80 class.

Lord Leconfield PC Dressage, Sands Farm, 25th October

Well done to Ella and Hugo who came 7th in their first ever PC Novice dressage competition! Fantastic test!

Chiddingfold PC Dry Tetrathlon, Munstead, 18th October

Cowdray had a number of talented representatives at Munstead in the Tetrathlon. Big well done to Maia, Max, Florence and Arthur. You all did a great job!

Chiddingfold PC and Chiddingfiold Farmers PC Hunter Trials, Munstead, 11th October

Well done to Ella and India for coming 6th in the 80cm Pairs and to Frankie for her brilliant 2nd place in the PC90! Great riding everyone!

 

D+ Test Success, 19th September

Hampshire Hunt PC and Cowdray ODE, Fair Oak, 13th September

What a brilliant performance by Cowdray at the ODE! The Cowdray Stars of Livi, India, Selina and Ella won the team event in PC80! India also won her section, whilst Selina and Ella came 2nd and 3rd respectively in their sections.

In the PC60 Grace won her section and had a fantastic test result to gain the Best Dressage award too! Bronte came 7th in her section as well.

Great job All! We are very proud of you.

 

Petersfield PC Showjumping Show, Chase Farm, 6th September

Cowdray were happy to be out again competing across the board and won three of the classes! Olivia won in the 30cm, Livi won in the 75cm Section B, and Selina won the 85cm Section A. Livi also came 3rd in the 80cm Sect. B and Selina 3rd in the Sect. A. 

Bronte was on fire, and bagged 2nd and 3rd in the 45cm and then 2nd in the 60cm.

Well done All! These are great results!

Area 13 Festival  – August 2020

Well done to Selina and India who both came 6th in their arenas in the PC80 Horse Trials! Evie came a fantastic 5th in the PC90 and in the Hunter Trials, Katie came a brilliant 2nd on her first time out with a new horse!

Surrey Union PC Online Dressage 

Livi and Ella were definitely not beaten by the COVID lockdown and entered the online dressage competition in June with fantastic results! Livi came 1st in PC Walk and Trot Test with 69.67% and 2nd in the PC Grassroots Test with 73.54%. Ella came 3rd in the PC Grassroots Test with 73.33%. These scores are really good! Well done girls!

Cobham &Wimbledon PC Online Easter Dressage

 

No less than 14 Cowdray members entered the online dressage competition and we fielded 4 teams! What is more we had some brilliant results.
 
In the PC Walk and Trot Test there was fantastic Team 1st for Polly, Amy, Heidi and Sabina! As well as individual section placings: Polly 4th, Heidi 6th, Sabina 5th and Livi 3rd.
 
In the PC Grassroots we had two teams. Selina, Daisy, Ella and Livi came a brilliant 2nd and Lottie, Evie, Jemima and Deya came in a fantastic 6th! There were lots of individual section placings too: Selina 2nd,Ella 3rd and 7th, Daisy 8th, Evie 7th and Deya 5th.
 
In the PC Novice our great team of Izzy, Katie, and Kristian came 4th! Katie also came 4th individually. In the PC Intermediate there were individual placings for Katie at 4th and Piers at 8th.
A massive well done to everyone, we are very proud of you all!

B&SC Showjumping show, Merrist Wood, 5th January 2020

Cowdray have started out early in 2020! 

Amy had a great result coming 5th in the 50cm.

The 70cm team of Ella, Livi and Selina were all glad to be out with their friends again competing as a team. Although there was no team placing, Livi came a very respectable 3rd individually and then managed 5th in the Winter Preliminary Debut.

Well done everyone! Not a bad start to the New Year at all.

Cobham and Wimbledon PC SJ, Sands Farm, 13th October

A great day for the mini minis at Cobham & Wimbledon SJ at Sands Farm. Heidi was first up for Cowdray, coming 5th in the cross poles class. The team of Heidi, Polly and Amy then rode 3 super clear rounds, achieving a fantastic team 3rd in the 40cm class. Heidi and Polly also achieved individual placings, Heidi 4th and Polly 7th.

 

The Cowdray successes continued after lunch, with the 50cm team of Polly, Amy, Grace and Daisy finishing on just 4 faults and securing an excellent team 4th. Super clear rounds for Grace and Polly, with individual placings of 5th and 9th respectively. To finish off the day, two more lovely clear rounds for Grace and Daisy in the 60cm class. Well done Cowdray!

 

Southern Mini Champs, Dunstall Green, 29th September

In spite of the challenging weather,  Cowdray members did really well at the Mini Champs. In the ODE Livi did brilliantly to get individual 2nd place with a double clear and very nice dressage test. Selina rode a great dressage test, was clear in the SJ and gained 20 penalties in the XC. Ella just had a pole down in the SJ and then had a wonderful clear in the XC.

In the SJ Daisy had 2 good rounds with just 4 faults in each. All of the girls should be extremely proud of themselves.

Surrey Union Interbranch SJ, Felbridge, 22nd September

Massive well done to Heidi who came 2nd in the cross poles class and to Amy who came 5th in the 40-45 class at Felbridge!

A great result in the 75-80 cm class too with the team of Ella, India, Livi and Lottie coming 5th. Brilliant clear rounds for Lottie and Ella coming 9th and 10th individually. Well done everyone!

 

Hampshire Hunt ODE, Fairoak, 15th September

Representing Cowdray as an individual, Livi came 6th in her arena in the PC70.  In the PC80 our team of India, Lottie and Selina came a fantastic 3rd! Both Selina and Lottie also came 6th in their individual arenas. Well done everyone!!

Fairoak Hunter Trials and Team Chase, 1st September

Cowdray Hunt were out in force at Fairoak and gained placings in the majority of classes! Livi won the Minimus and Ella had a brilliant clear. Kitty was 2nd in the Novice Sect.A, Lottie was 5th and Selina had a fantastic clear. Not to be outdone by her daughter, Clare came 2nd in the Novice Sect. B. and Becky had a lovely clear.

In the highly competitive Team Chase the Fast and Furious Izzy, Nell, Frankie and Tiva came a superb second. Although well down the field, The Cowdray Crazies Lottie, Ella and Livi had the best time ever and all came back clear, safe and elated!

PC Regional Championships, Rectory Farm, 23rd-26th August 2019

Congratulations to Evie for competing in the Regionals. She and Charlie Brown improved their dressage score, clipped a single pole in the SJ and managed to get round a scary, long, hilly and technical XC course safe and sound. Thank you for representing Cowdray so well!

 

Interbranch Team Showjumping, Hickstead, 3rd August 2019

Congratulations to the combined Lord Leconfield and Cowdray Hunt Team of Charlotte King, Jess Lee, Isis and Evie on taking 8th Place in the 80cm class.

Area 13 Showjumping, Wellington, 21st July 2019

What an awesome day for our Intermediate competitors at the Area SJ! The competition was in 2 rounds with Nell, Dora, Tiva and Izzy jumping clear in the team in the first round. Katie was riding as an individual and had a pole down.

In the second round the team jumped brilliantly round the huge course finishing 2nd and qualifying for the Nationals!!! Izzy and Dora jumped the only double clears of the competition out of more than 60 riders, finishing with Izzy in 1st and Dora in 2nd.

Huge congratulations girls! We are all extremely proud of you.

Area 13 Eventing, Munstead, Godalming, 14th July 2019

Cowdray had 2 teams competing in the PC90 at Munstead over a very tricky technical XC course. Everyone rode brilliantly with Katie coming 2nd and qualifying for PC Champs! Siena was 4th with a fantastic double clear and Dora was 8th, again with a fab double clear.

Massive well done to everyone!

Cowdray also had two individuals, Evie and Susannah, competing in the PC80. Both girls produced great SJ rounds, but the XC was very tough. Evie did a super job to produce a lovely double clear finishing 9th in her arena and qualifying for the Regional Championships at Rectory Farm! Very well done both of you!

Area 13 Dressage Qualifiers, Blackcroft Farm, Farley Hill 7th July 2019

Very well done to Carly and Sophie at the qualifiers! Carly was part of a mixed team which gained 4th place in the Intermediate and got a 6th individually. In the Novice, Sophie was 3rd individually, qualifying for the PC National Competition at Cholmondeley Castle! And also came 4th in the warm-up class!

India, Daisy, Selina and Livi represented Cowdray in the Grassroots Regional Qualifier. IT was a hugely competitive class and unfortunately the team was unplaced, but India produced a lovely test to come 8th individually, qualifying for the Regional Championships at Rectory Farm, and Livi did brilliantly to place 10th individually in her section, missing out on qualifying as well by just one place! Daisy and Selina both also produced lovely tests to narrowly miss out on the placings and Livi came 6th in the warm-up class too. Huge well done to all four girls at their first Area competition!

Petersfield PC ODE 15th June 2019

Isis, Evie and Lottie competed as a team of 3 in the PC80 class at Coombelands. All three girls put in some great performances with three super clear rounds in the showjumping. A lovely clear XC too took Isis into 5th place in her section!

 

 

Chiddingfold PC ODE 9th June 2019

Cowdray Minis were in the ribbons again on Sunday at Fairoak!

The 60-65cm team of Ella, Mack, Gaby and Jemima came 5th with Ella and Mack coming 4th in their individual arenas and Gaby coming 7th in hers.

 

 

The 75-80cm team of Lottie, Selina, Livi and India did brilliantly to come 6th! A very challenging XC course with a tricky corner fence caught a lot of people out and there were only 12 clear XC all day. Selina came 8th and Lottie and India 10th in their respective arenas too.

Very well done Cowdray Minis!

 

C Test Success

Congratulations to Lottie, Gaby, Deya, Ella, Livi and India for passing the C test!

In the Novice Class the team of Evie, Kristian, George and Susannah all rode brilliantly to gain 4th place!

The Minis also had a brilliant day! We had two teams competing in the 75-80cm team class and both finished on 0 faults with so many super clears. The team of Evie, Issie, Lottie and Georgina came 2nd and the team of Deya, Gaby, Livi and Selina came 4th. 

A special mention for Issie who also came 6th individually and won the Best Cowdray Cup!

 

Alton School SJ – 18th May

The Mini-minis enjoyed a very educational day around some challenging courses at Coombelands and managed to bring home some super rosettes! The 40cm team of Daisy, Polly, Grace and Poppy came 3rd, and the 45-50cm team of Daisy, Polly, Matilda and Florence came 2nd.

Chiddingfold PC SJ – 12th May

Cowdray Minis had an incredible day and dominated at Eashing Farm!

The 70cm team of Livi, Selina and Ella all jumped great rounds, followed by super performances in a very exciting jump-off to come team 1st! Ella also came 4th in the 60cm individual class, Livi came 3rd in the 70cm individual, and in the 75cm individual class Selina came 3rd and Livi 7th.

 

The 45-50cm team of Daisy, Polly, Grace and Florence were up next and also excelled, jumping some fantastic rounds, to pull out another team win! Daisy also came 5th and Amy 6th in the 45cm individual class. These are brilliant team results, very well done everyone!

 

Mid-Surrey ODE – 11th May

India and Daisy competed at Ebbisham Farm and both girls had a great day with India coming 5th in the 70cm class and Daisy 4th in the 55cm class!

 

Chiddingfold Farmers PC ODE-5th May

A fantastic day for the 2 novice teams riding in the ODE at Coombelands this Sunday with everyone clear xc and only 2 poles between the 7 of them.

The team of Nell,  kristian, izzy and Siena were placed 6th and the individual placing were…

> Izzy and Dora were both 3rd,  Nell was 5th, 

> Kristian and Tiva were both 6th and

> Frankie was 7th

The Minis also had a great day in the PC80 Class. The team of Evie, Isis, Lottie and Livi came 6th, and Susannah and Evie both came 7th individually in their sections.

Well done everyone on the results and a fantastic team spirit!

Bisley ODE – 28th April

Cowdray Minis had a lovely day at the Bisley ODE. We had two members in the PC50 class:Daisy and Polly. Both girls did very well competing in their first ODEs and Daisy came 8th as well as receiving the best dressage rosette!

The PC70 team of Livi, Selina, India and Ella did brilliantly and very narrowly missed out on a team placing. All the girls put in great performances with super clears XC for Ella and Livi. In their sections, Ella came 6th and Selina came 8th. A great start to the eventing season!
