Mandy is responsible for the overall running of Dartmoor branch. She attends area meetings and training when required as well as making sure that Dartmoor are up to date with training and regulations passed down from Head Office. She is also the main cheerleader whenever our members are out competing or at rallies and other sessions and can often be seen from the early hours on competition days through to being one of the last to leave!

Amanda (with a team of secret elves), helps organise and publish events, both mounted and unmounted and sends out correspondence to members, trainers and other clubs and venues. Amanda also ensures that all H&S Risk assessments, training and documentation are not only up-to-date but also adhered to.

Amy has stepped into the role of Treasurer here at Dartmoor looking after branch accounts and providing the annual treasurers report as well as submitting the financial statement to Head Office at the end of the financial year. Welcome Amy!

Tracey is our branch safeguarding officer. She is responsible for managing concerns about children and young people, and for creating and maintaining safeguarding procedures. She is also responsible for ensuring all our coaches, volunteers and committee members are up to date with both DBS and Safeguarding checks. With her EXCELLENT organisational skills and attention to detail, Tracey also organises camps alongside Zoe.

Val records the minutes of all of our meetings and keeps track of what actions we are all responsible for!

Zoe tirelessly organises rallies and training sessions, both mounted and unmounted, for Dartmoor Branch. Zoe also organises camps along with Tracey & Amanda. Always happiest with an extra large mug of hot tea and a bag of liquorice allsorts!

Laura organises our rallies and training sessions with guest instructors.

Harry is our social media whizz! Harry keep all of our social media platforms up to date with both current and future events and also celbrations from the fantastic work our members carry out and their achievements and successes… and the out-takes!! Its not all sunshine and roses!

Jaz has been a PC member herself until recently, as well as having a prominent role on the committee. Her knowledge and IT skills are invaluable when navigating our way through promoting our branch and events!

Tam is our chief instructor here at Dartmoor. She is a BHS Accredited Coach & UKCC Level 2 show jump coach. Tam provides invaluable training and advice as well as having the responsibility of organising teams for Area and Regional competitions.

Amy Stephens is our Junior committee leader but also is lead trainer and coordinator for badges and tests. Amy is also normally seen at most of our Pony Club events providing support through warm ups, course walking and general nerve calming!!!

Mark is a popular coach here at Dartmoor. He is a UKCC Level 2 Showjumping Coach. He has ridden to Advanced Medium Dressage and evented up to 2star.

Lucy has been a freelance coach for over 20yrs and is BHS Stage 4 Senior Eventing Coach-equivalent. Lucy has competed in dressage to advanced medium and evented to novice level. As coaches go, she is a firm favorite at Dartmoor.

Emily is a favorite with all of our members and is a BHSI performance coach. Emily competes at Intermediate/CCI* level. Emily is passionate about her coaching and this shows in her ability to help our members improve and achieve their goals.

Hi, I’m Lizzy. I am an Accredited BHS Stage 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship. I have great memories growing up as a member of the Dartmoor Pony Club so it is lovely to be able to teach the members and still be involved with the club. I teach all ages and abilities, and love to help people progress with their riding whilst having fun with their horses. I also enjoy working with young horses, helping to give them a good start in their ridden career. I attend regular training and competitions and I’m hoping to get out more this summer!
