Show Jumping Rallies 2023
♦ Show Jumping Rallies (70cm+)
Suitable for: Members who are confidently jumping 70cm and above.
Format: 1 hour sessions
Entry fee: Varies, according to venue
Dates 2023:

At Smallwood Livery Centre, CW11 2EX (On grass)
Time: 6pm – 8pm
Instructor: Amy Lennon
Cap: £15

♦ Beginners Show Jumping Rallies
Description: Small group sessions focussing on having fun and jumping some single fences building up to a little course.
Suitable for: Beginners just starting their jumping careers, including those on lead rein and working on trotting poles, to members jumping 60cm
Format: 1 hour group lesson, max. 5 per group
Venue: Mill Farm Stables, Newcastle Road, Smallwood, CW11 2UA

Suitable for: All members jumping 50cm+, grouped accordingly
Format: 45 min group lesson, max. 4 per group
Venue: Hunters Gate, Byley, CW10 9LW

Inter-Branch Show Jumping Competitions
Winter League Show Jumping
The Winter League Show Jumping series is open to all members and plans to run from September 2021 – March 2022
All East Cheshire members are invited to compete for the branch at these competitions – please get involved. The competitions are low key and you can dip in and out for a bit of show jumping practice, or attend as many competitions as possible and go for a place in the league! There are individual and team leagues between all members and branches in area 5 of The Pony Club.

♦ Winter Qualifiers & Championships:
Each Winter, members can compete in a competition series called the Barrier Spring Festival Series. Riders compete to qualify for the England and Wales finals as details below:
For Debut (80-90cm), Pony Club Challenge (90-1o0cm) and Open Grand Prix (1.05-1.10m) Levels

Sunday 3rd October – Somerford Park (East Cheshire)
Area Final – Saturday 26th March at Kelsall Hill
Spring Festival Championships – Friday 8th to Sunday 10th April 2022 at Arena UK

Annually, branch teams from our area (Area 5: Cheshire and North Wales) compete against each other, and members can qualify individually for the Regional & National Championships detailed below:-
Area 5 Show Jumping Qualifier (Team & Individual) – tbc
Regional Championships (Grassroots) – Saturday 26th to Sunday 27th August 2023, Kelsall Hill (North Midlands Region)
National Championships (Novice, Intermediate and Open) – Friday 11th to Saturday 19th August 2023, Offchurch Bury, Warwickshire
