New Joiners
The first rally can be a nerve-racking experience for both member and parent. Don’t be fooled into thinking you are surrounded by efficient parents, polite ponies and calm children! You will find that this is not always the case! We are all only too pleased to be asked to help as we have all been the new kid on the block. One of the quickest ways to get to know people and feel like part of the team is to offer to help in some way
Booking Rallies
It is advisable to book rallies that you wish to attend as soon as possible as they are often over subscribed. The closing date for booking each rally is clear in the booking system. All rallies and other events can be found, booked and paid for via our Calendar or our Entrymaster Booking System.
If you are travelling with other members or siblings, let the Rally Organiser know and they will try to arrange your times close together.
Uniform for Rallies
For Pony Club rallies, the correct dress must be worn – Pony Club Sweatshirt, long sleeved white shirt with Pony Club tie and badge, beige or fawn jodphurs or breeches, riding boots. Chaps are allowed providing they are plain black or brown.
Girls must have hair tied up and must wear a hairnet.
All ponies or horses should be clean and tidy, including tack. Only brown, black, navy, dark green or white saddle cloths or numnahs are permitted, and browbands must be plain.
Official Essex Farmers Pony Club sweatshirts, polo shirts, showerproof jackets, base layers and rugby shirts can be purchased from GG Gear via this link: Essex Farmers Pony Club.
** Please do not buy Essex Farmers uniform from anywhere except GG wear. There is a fake Facebook site impersonating our site that is selling fake merchandise.
