We are a very active pony club running mounted and unmounted rallies and shows throughout the year. Our aim is for our members to have lots of fun trying out all equine events including mounted games, show jumping, dressage, cross country, endurance and tetrathlon. We are the hosts of the Area 8 Mounted Games competition, and we support our members to compete at area and national levels. Our members are able to take the Pony Club efficiency tests to demonstrate their riding skills and horsemanship knowledge.
We hold events all year round at different venues in our area. These cover all disciplines and are open to members. Some rallies have requirements which aim to make things as safe as possible. For example, you will see some rallies with a minimum jumping ability or rider age. This will be made clear when booking and you will always be grouped according to your ability. To attend camps and be considered for team event you and the horse/pony you intend to use must have attended 3 rallies.
