Michael Paveley BHS I – Chief Instructor
Michael Paveley is an experienced Pony Club instructor having taught at pony club for 25 years. Michael holds a BSc(Hons) in Equine Science and is on the Pony Club Headquarters list of Specialist Visiting Coaches. Essex Farmers Pony Club are very privileged to have Michael as our chief instructor. He examines up to A-H Test level. Michael is a British Horse Society Qualified Instructor (BHSI), a British Eventing Accredited Coach and he has achieved the UKCC level 3 coaching certificate. He has competed to Advanced and CCI** level Eventing. Michael coaches horse and rider combinations for all disciplines at all levels. He also available to help with BHS exam training.
Jo Mitchel BHSAI – Assistant Chief Instructor / Branch Mounted Games Instructor
Jo started as a member of Essex Farmers Pony Club and is now lucky enough to teach for the branch too. Jo is a BHS Accredited Professional Coach, combining freelance coaching with riding. Jo has previously completed at low level BS and BE but currently competes at BD as well as enjoying unaffiliated showing and eventing.
Roxanne O’Connor BHSII
Roxanne, better known as Roxy, has been coaching with Essex Farmers Pony Club for about six years and very much enjoys teaching all levels of rider, both at Pony Club and privately as a freelance coach. Roxy is a BHS Accredited Coach with her level 4 complete coach qualification and has competed to BE100 level eventing, Medium level dressage, and Discovery level BSJA.
