Camps 2024
Fernie Camps
Camp is seen by our members as one of the key events in the club’s year. We have two camps, aimed at different ages.
Our day camp is aimed at members younger members and runs over 3 days. For our older members, we hold a 4-day residential camp, arriving on the evening of the first day.
To avoid booking fees, camp payments are BAC’ed direct to the Fernie bank account. The non-refundable deposit by November, this enables us to book the coaches which are in high demand over camp season !

Day Camp 2024
Our day camp is being held at Shangton Holt Farm, kindly hosted at the home of Hugh and Stacey Buxton.
This camp is aimed at members either 10 years and under, or those who would prefer a day-camp setting. It run over 3 days, Tuesday 13th – Thursday 15th August.
Each day runs 10am – 3pm, with children coming with their ponies each day, with riding, horse care and lots of fun ! The atmosphere at the camp is described by our members as welcoming, relaxed and encouraging.
Total cost is £150, with payment schedule below:
- Non-refundable deposit: £50 by end November
- 2nd payment: £50 by end Apr
- 3rd payment: £50 by end May

Residential camp 2024
Our camp for members 10 years and over, and is being held in 2024 at Aylesford Equine, Shoby.
Camp runs from Wednesday 24th – Sunday 28th July, arriving late afternoon on the Wednesday ready to be raring to go on the Thursday morning !
The time is filled with using Aylesford’s amazing facilities, talks and demos, horse care and evening activities. The whole week is geared up to laughter, fun and learning in a supportive and warm environment.
- Non-refundable deposit: £50 by end November
- 2nd payment: £100 by end Mar
- 3rd payment: £100 by end Apr
- 4th payment: £115 by end May
