Spring Festival Qualifiers

In the 70cm we had Zoe, Lucy, Nicole, Chloe, Frank and Euan flying the flag for Flamstead, and although there were unfortunately no qualifications, there were some fantastic rounds ridden, particular shout out to Zoe who rode a lovely clear, just had a few unfortunate time faults to add to her score.  Chloe also had a fantastic ride on her friend, Joe Parr’s pony.

The 80cm class was a very exciting one, with Sienna, Zoe, Jemima H, Chloe, Leila and Frank we had another 2 teams entered.  For this competition there are only 3 in a team, meaning every score counts, so the pressure is on.  Sienna produced a beautiful clear and the only competitor to have no time faults, which put her in the lead and she stayed there to take the win!  Team mates Zoe and Jemima H also went clear, with only a few time penalties landing them in 9th and 12th place.  These fantastic scores meant that as a team they were miles ahead of all the other teams, so secured their spot at the Spring Festival in March! Well done girls!

Leila was the only rider who took on the 80 and the 90, and flew round for a clear in both, and with only a few time penalties in each she landed herself a 5th in the 80 and 4th in the 90cm, bagging her a Spring Festival qualification!  Exciting things to come for this pair in the future I think!
