Whaddon Chase Tetrathlon

What a fantastic competition for the Flamstead Pony Club Tetrathlon Squad and it was a delight to welcome new members to our squad. There were some incredible performances with many of our squad moving up to the next age group, some brilliant individual and team results!

We started on Saturday with Whaddon Chase running the Cross Country at Flamstead field and it didn’t disappoint; there were some excellent rides and some great achievements at new heights.

On Sunday we headed to Tiddenfoot leisure centre for the Tri phase.

⭐️ Beanie Tet Team (7 years and under)

Frederick Afolami took an amazing 1st place in Tet Boys
Toby McNamara finishing a brilliant 3^rd in Tet Boys
Elsie Oliver also achieved a fantastic 3rd place in Tet Girls

All 3 scores collectively secured The Flamstead Blues team an excellent 2nd place team result.

⭐️ Tadpoles Tet Team (9 years and under)

Charlotte Monaghan finished a brilliant 3rd place in Tet Girls and helped the mixed team achieve 3rd place.
George Oliver secured a very impressive 2nd place in Tet Boys and was part of the mixed team that took 1st place.
Rory McNamara had a great competition coming 3rd individually in Tet Boys and contributed to the mixed team’s 1st place.

⭐️ Mini Tet Team (11 years and under)

Zach Afolami won the class with an outstanding 1st place individually, winning all disciplines!
Hugo Hooper finished 3rd with a fantastic score of 4033
Issy McNamara secured a strong 5th after a confident ride but sadly missing a fence; her score contributed to the team victory.

A superb performance from the Flamstead Red team, who took 1st place overall!

⭐️ Mini Tri (11 years and under)

Oscan Monaghan achieved a great 3rd place individually and helped the mixed team secure 3rd place
Charlotte Coker competed in her first ever Tri and finished and impressive 6th individually and was part of the mixed team that won 1st place.

⭐️ Junior Tet Team (14 years and under)

Zoe Hooper led the way with an excellent 2nd place individually and as part of the Flamstead Blues team finished 2nd
Florence Atkins took 4^thand as part of the Flamstead Blues team finished 2nd
Jemima Latham also had a brilliant competition, finishing 5th individually and helping the mixed team achieve 1st place.
Macey Lou Haley 6^th and as part of the Flamstead Blues team finished 2nd
Maddie Darvell 8th, all helping secure the Flamstead Blues team’s 2nd place finish.

⭐️ Junior Triathlon (14 years and under)

Congratulations to Harvey Rainbow, who won 1st place individually, winning all his disciplines against some strong opposition and helped the mixed team take 1st place.

Well done to every single competitor for their hard work, determination, and team spirit. We are incredibly proud of the whole squad and grateful to all the trainers, volunteers, and supporters who make these achievements possible.
