Area 12 Tetrathlon Report

🌟 Flamstead PC Area Tetrathlon Report 🌟

What a weekend for Flamstead PC at Area 12 Tet — The weather didn’t dampen our spirits, superb performances and a sea of PBs, placings and silverware. Every single competitor brought grit, good humour and that unmistakable Flamstead buzz. Here’s how the action unfolded across the classes.

🏆 Seniors – Champions in Style

Our Flamstead Senior Girls absolutely smashed it, storming to 1st place and lifting the Rose Bowl Cup in serious style.

Individually the scores were incredibly tight:

  • Jemima delivered a lovely ride to take 1st place and the Senior Girls Platter.

  • Jess fought back brilliantly after a frustrating ride, to gain 2nd place with a PB of 980 and winning the shoot.

  • Molly put in a dream performance with a perfect ride score of 1400 — flawless.

A powerhouse team from start to finish.

💛 Juniors – Two Teams, One Mighty Effort

Flamstead fielded two Junior teams, both bursting with talent.

Junior Golds (Penny, Zoe, Harvey)

A superb performance earned them 3rd place and the Branch Junior Team Shield.

Flamstead Flyers (Florence, Maddie, Jemima L)

A brilliant team effort secured 5th place.

Individual Highlights

  • Penny was just nudged into 2nd after a strong all‑round performance.

  • Zoe took 7th with a great PB in her run.

  • Florence finished 8th, scoring PBs in both shoot and swim.

  • Jemima L claimed 10th with PBs in run and swim.

  • Maddie placed 12th, also with PBs in run and swim.

Junior Boys

  • Harvey had a cracking tri day, finishing 4th with PBs in his shoot and swim.

A seriously strong Junior section — the future looks bright.

⭐ Minis – Small but Mighty

Zach and Hugo teamed up in a mixed Mini Tet team and only went and won 1st place.

  • Zach was on fire: individual 1st, a perfect 1400 ride, and a PB in his swim.

  • Hugo wasn’t far behind, taking 3rd with strong scores across the board.

  • Both have been nominated for Steppingstones at National Championships — selection to be confirmed after the Mini Home Internationals.

In the Tri, Samuel secured Team 3rd and 5th individually — a brilliant effort.

🐸 Tadpoles – Big Hearts, Big Results

Our Tadpole trio — Charlotte, George and Rory — were superb, securing Team 2nd.

  • George had drama at the shoot, having to swap guns mid‑competition and use an unfamiliar one. He handled it calmly, scored a 900 PB, won the shoot, and added a PB in his swim to finish 3rd. He was also awarded the Best Newcomer to Tet Rose Bowl Cup — a huge achievement.

  • Rory McNamara had a fantastic ride and a PB in his swim, finishing 5th.

  • Charlotte delivered a lovely ride and a PB in her swim, securing 6th.

A brilliant set of performances from our youngest Tet stars.

🐝 Beanies – The Cutest Competitors with Serious Talent

  • Elsie had a fabulous Tet, producing a lovely ride to help secure Team 1st and finishing 4th individually.

  • Frederic shone in the Tri, taking Team 3rd and 6th individually.

🎉 National Championships Qualifiers – Our First of the Season

With the new qualification rules, any rider who didn’t jump down and achieved 1000+ in their ride qualified for Champs.

We are thrilled to announce our first qualifiers of the season:

Molly, Jemima M, Penny, Zoe and Florence

A huge congratulations — and with the Tet season just getting going, we can’t wait to add more names to the list.

💛 Final Thoughts

From Seniors to Beanies, every Flamstead competitor showed courage, sportsmanship and that trademark team spirit. PBs were flying, cups were collected, and the Blues were out in force.

Roll on the rest of the season — Flamstead are just getting started.
