Area Dressage Report

Area Dressage took place at BCA last weekend and we had a fabulous turnout again of over 20 riders across the classes. This year, due to GCSEs and a few other commitments we had less competing for Champs, but many more came forward for Regionals this year, including some first timers. It was wonderful to welcome the new faces to the Flamstead teams and we really enjoyed showing them the ropes!

First and foremost congratulations to Erin Neale who qualified both her grey mares, Ze and Sophie, for National Champs, by placing 2nd and 3rd with them. A fantastic achievement.

On to the Regionals classes:

An incredible amount of qualifiers both as Teams as Individuals. In the 70 going through to Regional Champs at Aston Le Walls in August are: Hugo, Sienna, Violet, Ellie, Flora, Eleanor and Zoe. And in the 80: Sienna, Flora, Zoe (on both ponies), Daisy, Molly and Rory!

Teams

In the Grassroots (PC80) out of 15 teams, the Flamstead Fames (Flora McFarlane, Zoe Hooper and Molly Batizovszky came 3rd, and the Flamstead Bonfires (Sienna Scriven, Zoe Hooper and Rory Laing) came 5th, which is again fantastic!

In the PC70, the Flamstead Escapado’s (Hugo Hooper, Sienna Scriven and Violet Grimston) came 6th, and the Flamstead Gio’s (Ellie Helvadjian, Flora McFarlane, Violet Grimston and Eleanor Eastham) came 7th out of 19 – well done!

In the Prix Caprilli, our team of Ciara Scriven, Florence Atkins and Hugo Hooper came 6th out of 17 teams, again a super result. Hugo on an insane 93%!!

On to the individual placings – note these are all in different sections within each class so the placings are not related / directly comparable to each other:
