Area Tetrathlon Report

Thank you so much to all the parents for the massive amount of effort it takes to complete a weekend of Area Tetrathlon!

We had it all this weekend; lorry disasters; food poisoning; nappy horses; logistics challenges…but we managed to get through it all so massive well done everyone. Tetrathlon certainly builds resilience!

The kids all did us so proud; especially those with the trickier rides, they all represented themselves and our Branch excellently, showing real positivity and willingness to keep on learning and growing. The lovely thing about Tet is that even when one phase doesn’t go to plan, there’s other phases that do, and everyone came away with a ‘win’ and a rosette.

In the Tri classes, well done to Winnie and Orla placing 3rd and 4th respectively in the Beanie and Junior Girls section.

In the Tet classes, Cecily had a strong performance winning the run, placing 4th & top Area 12 girl in the Beanies, Hugo won the shoot and finished 7th as the Top Area 12 boy and winning the trophy in the Tadpole Boys with Flo 13th with a PB shoot in the Tadpole Girls.

In the Minis, huge congratulations to Zoe who won quite an epic battle with some very clever riding, an incredible 980 shoot and winning run to take the win and be selected for the Steppingstones Central England teams at JCB Champs whilst Harvey came 2nd and won both the run and shoot in the Boys.

In the Juniors, Penny had to withdraw due to illness, so sadly our team was depleted, but well done to Jemima and Charlie who finished 8th and 2nd with Charlie winning the Shoot.

In the Intermediates Jess and Molly were 1st and 2nd and huge well done to Jess for qualifying again for the JCB Champs whilst in the Open Josie came 2nd and also qualified. It’s absolutely fantastic to have 3 girls in the Senior categories – so proud of you all.
