Rising Stars of Flamstead: Shining Bright Across Every Discipline! 🌟
From Dressage victories to Eventing triumphs, our young riders are creating unforgettable memories, one sash at a time.
The Flamstead Pony Club is beaming with pride as our incredible riders continue to excel across all disciplines, from Dressage to Show jumping and Eventing. Their passion, hard work, and the bonds they’ve formed with their ponies are truly inspiring. Let’s celebrate their amazing achievements together!
Dressage Success
- PC 70: We are thrilled to announce that Sienna took home the overall win with a performance that left us all in awe. Zoe, Eleanor E, and Violet also gave their all, earning 8th, 13th, and 15th places in their sections. Their collective efforts brought the team to a fantastic 9th place finish. Competing against over 25 riders, each of these young stars showed incredible dedication and teamwork, making us so proud!
- PC 80: What an exciting day it was for our PC 80 riders! With two of our three riders making it to the ride-off, Sienna claimed yet another overall victory. Rory wasn’t far behind, securing a very impressive 4th place. Rory also won his section, and Zoe followed closely with an 8th place finish, guiding the team to a well-earned 4th place. Watching their partnerships with their ponies grow stronger in such a competitive field has been a joy.
Show Jumping Style
- PC 70: Leila wowed us with a fast and flawless clear in her first round, with just an unlucky pole in the second. Zoe and Sienna, with their impressive double clears, earned spots in the championship ride-off. Sienna’s triple clear secured her 22nd place individually, and the team finished strong in 7th place. What a day!
- PC 80: Rory, riding John Grimston’s pony for only the second time, faced some early challenges but came back strong with a clear round in his second go. Guy also turned things around with a brilliant clear after an initial stop, and Tamar made wonderful progress with Flurry, despite a few poles. It’s so rewarding to see them all growing and learning from these experiences!
Eventing Excellence
At the Eventing Championships, both Zoe and Sienna showed their true grit and skill. Their beautiful dressage tests led them to the top of their sections after the dressage and showjumping phases. After 2 foot-perfect show jumping rounds, the cross-country course was as challenging as they come, with tricky sunken roads and a spooky water jump featuring a boat that caused quite a stir! Zoe’s pony, Tom, had a bit of a disagreement with the boat, but Sienna rode a flawless clear round, adding yet another sash to her collection and finishing 1st in her section. We’re so proud of her perseverance and success—what an achievement! 🤩
Sienna’s expansive collection of sashes has left us all in awe—could she be our most decorated champion yet? It certainly looks that way, and we couldn’t be prouder! 🏅
