JCB Tetrathlon Champs 2025
🏆 Flamstead Pony Club at the JCB National Tetrathlon Championships
What a weekend at Champs! Flamstead Pony Club was out in full force at the JCB National Tetrathlon Championships at Offchurch Bury, with six talented tetrathletes qualifying and delivering standout performances across all phases.
👧 Junior Team – Flamstead Branch
Our Junior team—Penny, Jemima, and Zoe—competed as a Flamstead Pony Club Branch team and showed incredible determination:
- Jemima hit personal bests in both the shoot and swim, then rode with precision over the tough 90cm XC course, scoring a brilliant 1084 ride score.
- Zoe also achieved a swim PB and tackled the XC with confidence, earning a solid 734 ride score.
- Penny matched her swim PB and was ready to ride, but a small accident in the warm-up sadly ruled her out of the ride and run. Despite this, the team rallied and secured a 9th place finish—a testament to their teamwork and resilience!
💪 Inter Girls – Area 12 Team
Jess and Molly teamed up with Grace from OBHN to form an Area 12 Inter team:
- Jess was flying high in 4th place after a strong shoot and swim PB. but sadly was non-competitive without a ride score. Jess score was still needed to count towards the Area 12 team of just 3 inter girls
- Molly delivered a swim PB and rode a bold, clear round over the challenging 100cm XC course, taking all the direct routes. A few time faults at the gate and slip rail didn’t stop her from helping the team secure a 6th place finish!
🌟 Open Girls – Individual Entry
Josie represented Flamstead in the Open Girls category.
- She came close to her swim PB with a powerful performance in the pool. On the 105cm Championship XC course, Josie rode a fast, fearless round, taking all the direct routes and earning a awesome 1400 ride score.
From personal bests to bold XC rounds, our Flamstead athletes showed true Pony Club spirit, courage, and camaraderie. Huge congratulations to all our competitors—you’ve made us incredibly proud! 💙🐎
