Tetrathlon Junior Home Internationals

🌍 Junior Home Internationals – Moreton Morrell 🌍
Still buzzing from an unforgettable weekend — now that the dust has settled, we can truly appreciate what an incredible few days it was at Moreton Morrell for the Junior Home Internationals Tetrathlon & Triathlon.

💛 Central England Team Spirit
Harvey, Penny, and Jemima M were proud to represent Central England in both the Triathlon and Tetrathlon.
We were fortunate to join an impromptu cross‑country course walk with Harry Meade, followed by a team walk with Alex Connors. Both offered invaluable insights into the technical demands of tetrathlon XC courses — lessons that will serve us well in the future!

🏃 Harvey’s Triathlon Adventure
Harvey delivered a strong, consistent performance across all three phases:
  • Shoot – 840/1000, steady and composed
  • Swim – over 8 lengths in 3 minutes
  • Run – a blistering 5:26 on a challenging, hilly 1500m field course
After the triathlon phases, Harvey was thrilled to find himself in 2nd place 🥈. With the girls’ run still to come, he was narrowly pushed into 3rd 🥉 — a result he was absolutely delighted with.

🏇 Penny’s Junior Girls Tetrathlon
Penny represented Central England in the Junior Girls Tet, where the ride proved a true test. She produced strong scores across all four phases:
  • Ride – 1158
  • Shoot – 960
  • Swim – 9+ lengths in 3 minutes
  • Run – 6:15
She secured 24th place overall — a gutsy effort in a highly competitive international field!

🌟 Jemima M – First‑Year Senior Girl
Jemima represented Central England in the 1st Year Senior Girl Tet and showed remarkable determination in the ride:
  • Shoot – 840
  • Swim – 1030
  • Ride – 784
A fantastic way to conclude Jemima’s Junior status and to begin her Senior debut, laying strong foundations for the seasons ahead.

🎉 Team Spirit & Peaky Blinders Fun
The weekend wasn’t just about competition. Before the Tet Party, all competitors took part in a short movie‑themed production. Central England’s entry was Peaky Blinders,  The team threw themselves into the challenge and secured another 3rd place 🥉 — proving that Flamstead spirit shines both on and off the field!

💛 Final Thoughts
An unforgettable experience:
  • Strong performances across Tri and Tet
  • Valuable lessons to support stepping up to tougher courses
  • Great friendships and team spirit
  • Memories to last a lifetime ❤️💙💛
