Spurs Badge

The Pony Club are changing the rules regarding wearing of spurs at Pony Club fixtures.

We shall be holding a spur badge test during half term and would like some idea of numbers of members who are interested. If you have not already sent your name to Bethan Jones, please could you do so ASAP (dc@fndponyclub.org.uk).

Pony Club Tests

Test ages are as follows:

  • D test, recommended 8+yrs
  • D+ test, recommended 10+yrs
  • C test, recommended 11+yrs
  • Main Road Rider Achievement badge is recommended around the D+ standard. (F&D recommend about 10yrs+ to study for this.)

All test sheets are available on the Main PCUK website.

We are going to run the above R/ R Achievement badge over two evenings and a half day in October half term if we have enough interest. Please email Aloma on llysfaen@fndponyclub.org.uk if you are interested in any of the following tests so we can plan forward

D, D+, C , C+, Road Rider Achievement. Aloma has a list of those who have put their names forward in the last month. Thank you.

Mold Triathlon, 27 October

Entries for the next triathlon are now live on Entry Master. The schedule is also attached as it contains important information about the event.

This is the first of the Trio of Triathlons. This year’s events are: 27 October, 19 January, and 9 March.

Everyone who takes part in all three of the Trio of Tris will get a prize for commitment. These entries can be in different classes.

In each class the person with the highest combined score from all three of the Trio of Tris will receive a trophy. These need to be done in the same class, so if you move up a category in January consider whether you want to take that step in October instead.

East Cheshire Show Jumping Competition

Please find attached the schedule for this weekend’s show jumping. It is a fun and friendly branch competition with jumps starting at the smallest cross poles. You can enter on Entrymaster.
