The session is designed to give a rise in discussion and reflection on recent developments and best practice. Although this is aimed at members working towards and above C+ test it might also be useful for parents, coaches and officials.

Christmas Fun Pairs Games Competition JUNIOR AND JUNIOR NOVICE

Sunday 29th December 2024 at Maelor Equestrian Centre, LL12 9SD

A fun Christmas Themed pairs mounted games competition for Junior NOVICE groups. Entry fee is per pair. Please select class 1 or 2 for first rider details and class 1A or 2A for second rider details. Please let us know in comments if your pair is on or off the lead rein.

Winter League Show Jumping – Thank You

Our branch held a very successful WLSJ at Northop Equine Centre last Sunday. Our Members were very smartly turned out and were a credit to our branch. They rode very well and we had numerous successes in each class.

I would like to thank all the parents, committee members and members who came to help set up, steward and generally help make it such a great day.

Ruth set up and ensured that all results went live as soon as the competitor had completed their round. Ruth’s task started days prior to the competition, sorting out the individuals and teams in each class.

The car parking stewards ensured that everyone was able to park safely in a very confined area.

The collecting ring stewards, tack checkers, door stewards, judges’ assistants, scorers and pole pickers ensured that each class ran on or ahead of time so that the day finished promptly.

Gill Edwards, the course builder and judge, ensured that everyone had a good competition.

Linda and Keith served their delicious food and kept us fed.

It takes an army of volunteers to put on the competition so THANK YOU everyone who volunteered.

I would like to also thank Charlotte for allowing us to use the venue at Northop.

Thank you also to Mari for organising training and also to Mari And Sian for organising the teams.

Next WL SJ is on 1st Dec at Southview.

A great day for Flint and Denbigh at our WLSJ competition on Sunday at Northop. All the children rode very well and had a lot of fun helping, eating all their chocolate prizes and being with their friends. We had great results:
