It is also compulsory to wear a body protector of the correct standard for all Pony Club cross country riding. BETA 2018 Level 3.

Selection for UK Polocrosse Teams
Congratulations to two of the members of Flint & Denbigh Pony Club who have been selected to play for the UK in upcoming Polocrosse competitions.
- Katie Davies has been selected to play on the UK Under 25s team against Ireland this weekend at Cheshire Polo Club. This is a fantastic achievement for Katie and her two horses Tano and Goa.
- Daisy Stone has been selected to go to Australia in July with the UK Under 16s team. This is a very exciting opportunity for Daisy and the team to be able to go and play against the Australian Polocrosse teams.
Area Mounted Games Competition at Higher Farm
On 10th May our junior team and Helen competed at the Area competition. The competition was tough, but everyone gave their best. The junior team, consisting of Catrin Morgan, Elis Roberts, Alys Evans, Megan Evans, and Anni Morgan, finished in 4th place. Helen and her pair also finished in 4th place. Well done to all!
As always, a big thank you to the parents for their continued support and to our trainer, Joe.
Royal Windsor Horse Show
Congratulations to Helen Jones who was a member of the Welsh games team and were placed 2nd at the Sunday Grand Final. They won the overall section over the week. Such an amazing experience. Helen has been an inspiration to the younger games members.
Helen and Chester had an amazing week in Windsor meeting loads of people, experiencing lots of different things, and riding in a really thrilling competition arena. Helen is really grateful for all of the support from the Flint and Denbigh Pony Club and the training, coaching and friendship she has had over the years that helped her to get to Windsor in 2025 to represent Wales.
