Champs – Mounted Games Results

Our junior team, trained by Joe Owen, put in a fantastic performance at the JCB Pony Club championships, finishing equal 3rd overall. After a nail biting run-off, they were placed 4th out of 28 teams – an incredible achievement in such a competitive field.

The day began with two morning heats of 14 teams each. Our team won their heat in style, securing their place in the afternoon session alongside 6 other qualifiers, plus seven from the second heat.

The afternoon was a whirlwind of speed, skill, determination, with every team eager to make it to the finals of each race. Joe remained as cool as a cucumber, guiding the riders with calm confidence and keeping spirits high. Meanwhile, parents on the sidelines were on tenterhooks, willing every turn, gallop and handover to go perfectly.

A brilliant result and a day full of teamwork, talent, and true Pony Club spirit – well done to everyone involved.

Joe, Catrin , Anni, Alys, Megan and Elis – CONGRATULATIONS!
