East Cheshire Mounted Games Friendly – 7th & 8th September

Flint & Denbigh were well represented at the friendly competition at Higher Farm, Byley last weekend, with a junior and junior novice team competing on the Saturday, and another junior novice team taking part on both days. Despite a soggy Sunday, lots of fun was had by all.

The junior team consisted of Elis Roberts, Catrin Morgan, Zoë James, Alys Evans and Megan Evans. They finished a respectful 5th place on Saturday, having only recently stepped up to this level. Well done, everyone!

The F&D Diamonds junior novice team consisted of Nansi Evans, Joseff James, Ioan James, Anni Morgan and Harri Morgan. It was a late one for them on the Saturday evening and they did brilliantly to secure 3rd place – excellent work!

And finally, the F&D Stripes team, consisting of Tom Bowen, Ifan Johnson, Ella Wood and Jac Dixon, did great work to finish in 2nd place over the two days. Congratulations to you all!

As always, a big thank you to our trainer, Joe, for his continued support and dedication! Thank you to the parents, friends and family that were there to run, support and steward – we couldn’t do it without you!

If you would like to give it a go, further training dates have now been added to the fixture list so do get in touch to book on if you’re interested. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun!
