Tet – Albrighton – 06/04/24

Twelve young Flint and Denbigh tetrathletes attended the Albrighton Branch Dry-Tri near Telford on Saturday, April 6^th.  It meant an early start but most of the phases took place in the afternoon. There wasn’t a team competition but they all did extremely well as individuals and everyone came home with a rosette and an Easter egg ! They had a wonderful day.

This was a Dry-Tri, so no swimming.  The riding was arena eventing fences and classes  depended on the height of the fences.

Notable achievements were :-

• Elin Jones 3^rd Mini Girl. Clear XC.
• Zoe James won the Tadpoles with the top run. Clear XC.
• Catrin Morgan was second. Clear XC.
• Alys Evans 5^th.
• Megan Evans 9^th with the top shoot of 860
• Gweni Jones 5^th Tadpole with top shoot of 800.
• Joseff James won the Beanies with the top run, Ioan 4^th and Harri 5^th.
• Anni Morgan won the Beanie girls.
• Nanci Evans very kindly  let Magi borrow Jedi for the ride so he went round twice – clear.  Well done Nanci and Jedi.
