🏆 The Pony Club Regional Grassroots Championships 🏆

What an incredible three days for our 70cm and 80cm teams competing at the Regional Championships at Kelsall Hill! 🌟

It has been an absolute pleasure to watch these young riders throughout the weekend. They have ridden to an incredibly high standard, showing skill, maturity and fantastic team spirit. Every one of them has been a real credit to our branch. 💙

Saturday – 70cm Show Jumping 🐎

Our teams jumped two fantastic rounds over challenging courses. Four teams finished on clears and went forward to an exciting jump-off!

The team of Megan, Eos, Ella and Catrin kept their cool and didn’t let the nerves get to them. They produced spectacular rounds to finish 2nd out of 24 teams and take a well-deserved place on the podium! 🥈👏

Individually, Angharad finished 2nd with a speedy round from over 100 competitors, with Ella finishing an excellent 7th. 🌟

Sunday – 80cm Show Jumping 🐎

Back to Kelsall Hill for day two, with our two 80cm teams jumping two rounds over courses that required skill, accuracy and careful riding.

All our members rode fantastically, although unfortunately it was a day where four faults seemed to find most of us!

The team of Alys, Eos, Ella and Angharad finished an excellent 5th out of 26 teams, while Jonjo, Megan, Catrin and Angharad finished 10th.

Eos had a brilliant day, jumping a double clear and securing her place in the jump-off. What a fantastic achievement! 👏

Monday – Eventing 🏆🐴

And then came Monday morning and a third day at Kelsall Hill for the eventing — and what a day it was for F&D!

🥇 Catrin – 1st in her 80cm section
🥇 Angharad – 1st in her 80cm section
🥇 Megan – 1st in her 70cm section
🏅 Zoe – 5th in her 70cm section

Three section winners is an amazing achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of all our riders! 🎉

A special thank you must go to Bethan and Louise, who gave up their valuable time to put on the Area, support the competition and help our members today.

A huge thank you also goes to all the parents and past parents who came along to help and support over the three days. These events simply wouldn’t happen without you. 💙

And finally, thank you to Meelie and Zoe, who volunteered all day at the show jumping and dressage. Your help was very much appreciated! 👏

What a weekend for F&D — congratulations to every single rider who took part. We are incredibly proud of you all! 🌟
