Equestrian vaulting have a go!
I run an equestrian vaulting club on the English/Welsh border. We have supported a few pony clubs in the past and i am putting the feelers out to see if any of your members might be interested in a ‘have a go vaulting’ experience. These sessions are 1.5hrs long, they include floor work/fitness, barrel training and horse time to experience and really get a feel for this niche and exciting sport. This kind of training is fantastic for core strength, balance and confidence.
We are looking to put some sessions on over the next couple of months. One of our members has managed (at just 11 years old!) to gain her scores to allow her to compete internationally for Great Britain and these have a go sessions are being run as a way of helping to support her and horse financially to get abroad.
If you might be interested please get in touch!
Just a few basics:
- Max weight is 9.5stone
- 12 per session
- No previous experience necessary
- Fully insured on experienced vaulting horses
- Location is near Wrexham, north Wales
