Voluntary roles for branch

As you all know Iona our secretary and Bethan Edwards show jumping coordinator have decided that it’s time for them to stand down from their positions in the branch.

We need parents that would be keen to take on some responsibilities / duties to run our successful branch.

There will be a meeting for parents on Sunday 28th July at the marquee at camp 5.30pm.

Please make every effort to attend this important meeting.

Area 5 Horse Trials

Flint and Denbigh Branch were well represented at the area horse trials that took place at Radfords Llanymynech. The course was beautifully dressed and the going was perfect.

100 cm class

Lleucu Newton 4th and also won the best turned out.

80cm

Summer Bellis 3rd

70cm

Summer Bellis 1st

Zoe James 7th

Elin Jones won the best turned out in this class.

Team – 2nd – Summer Bellis, Elin Jones, Angharad Davies Cook and Catherine Smith Edwards.

A special mention to Alys riding her little pony Chicco. She had a very good dressage score and completed the cross country. Chicco was by far the smallest pony competing.

All our members rode brilliantly and were very smartly turned out.

Good luck to all who have qualified for the regional championships, which will be held at Kelsall in August.

Congratulations to Lleucu Newton who has qualified for the 100 cm horse trials at the championships ar Offchurch Bury.
