Volunteers needed to steward at our Winter League Dressage & Show Jumping

Please could members and parents let Catherine (branch secretary) or Bethan know if you are available to steward at our WL competitions – Dressage on 2nd Nov or Show Jumping on 16th Nov.

We will need stewards for the collecting ring, indoor school door, parking, tack check, poles, scoring & writer for the dressage judge.

We shall also need volunteers to help set up on the day before for SJ.

Nominate a Rider for London International Horse Show (from PCUK)

We’re thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity to four Members to take part in a Masterclass at London International Horse Show on Sunday 21st December!

The Masterclass will be taught by international Eventing legend Pippa Funnel, and is all about ‘Eventing Basics’.

If you have a Member in mind who fits the below criteria, you’ll need to nominate them via the form below. Please read the following information before making any nominations:

• Riders must be aged 15 and over
• Must be comfortable speaking and riding in front of a large crowd
• Horse must be 14.2hh – 16.2hh (due to size of fences and activities) and comfortable with large arena atmospheres
• Must be able to jump 100cm safely and correctly
• Consent required for filming and promotional use (including social media)
• Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian (three wristbands per horse, including the rider)
• Stabling available Saturday and Sunday night
• No exercise area for horses on Saturday
• Rider will be allocated twin hotel room for Saturday night only. Riders are permitted to stay in lorries (no hook-up or shower facilities)
