Fern has sadly passed away at 31 years old. She has been so good to so many PC members for the past decade.

Half Term Halloween rally

Wednesday, October 28th at Equiti. Please contact Aloma (llysfaen@fndponyclub.org.uk).

Unmounted Halloween activity

Saturday 31st October at 10.30am. Pumpkin pick, maize maze, tractor ride (weather permitting). Maybe a few games, hot dogs, chips and a drink. £10 per member. Please contact Aloma if you would like to attend (llysfaen@fndponyclub.org.uk). Thank you to Anna Hughes (instructor) and her parents.

Fun One Day Event

Fiona Jones is organising a “Have a go ODE” on 18th October. It isn’t a competition, but for children to have a go at a dressage test, SJ and XC course. The dressage will have a judge, who will give feedback on the test. There will be 2 sections, LR and OFF Lead. We will also split the Off Lead and increase the jumps for those who want. We look forward to your entry.

Winter League Show Jumping – Competition Report

Saturday marked the start of the Winter League Show Jumping series, and a fantastic squad of members headed over to the Anglesey Show Field to represent the Club. It was brilliant to see several new members taking part in Winter League for the first time, embracing the challenge with confidence and enthusiasm.

Throughout the day, our riders produced beautifully ridden rounds, demonstrating the hard work, progress, and dedication they have shown over the summer. Their determination, perseverance, and excellent sportsmanship were evident in every class and deserve real praise.

Well done to every one of you. Your efforts, attitude, and team spirit made the day a real success, and we look forward to seeing you at the next competition.

Winter League is a fantastic opportunity for members to gain valuable competitive experience, with varied challenges across different WL venues throughout the winter. If anyone would like to join the team, entries for the next competition are now open. All details can be found on the calendar.
