Rally at Equiti – Spaces

Test Training

The deadline for submissions to this year’s Pony Club Thelwell Art Competition is quickly approaching. Don’t miss the opportunity for your Members to showcase their talent and creativity.

- Submission Deadline: Sunday, 18th February
We’re thrilled to welcome the Thelwell family, who have graciously joined our judging panel this year. Norman Thelwell, regarded as the unofficial artist of the British countryside and possibly the most popular cartoonist in Britain since the Second World War, brings valuable expertise. Together, we aim to discover the next generation of equestrian artistic talent. Our sincere thanks to the Thelwell family for their involvement, and we express gratitude in advance for the wonderful prizes they’ll provide to the competition winners.
We are eager to see the interpretations of this year’s theme. Whether it’s a visual representation of camaraderie or an adventurous masterpiece, the unique perspectives within our Pony Club community make it special. This year we also celebrate the 95th Anniversary of The Pony Club and the 25th Anniversary of the Centres Scheme.
The winning piece will be proudly displayed at the prestigious Royal Windsor Horse Show, offering recognition to the talented artist.
Submission Categories:
- 11 years and under
- 12-16 years
- 17 years and over
Additionally, this year, we’ve introduced a team competition to encourage collaboration among our Members. Gather your creative minds and work together to bring the theme of friendship and adventure to life. Remember, this is an excellent opportunity for your Members to share their passion for art.
Once you’ve completed your artwork, you just need to take a photo of it and upload the image to the following link https://artcomp.pcuk.org/enter.php
The image upload facility will be available until the competition’s closing date (18th February 2024).
