Horse & Pony Care

Pony Club Tests

We are hoping to run Pony Club tests again this year.  Could you please contact Aloma at llysfaen@fndponyclub.org.uk if you are interested in taking tests, so that instructors/ organisers have a guide.

Quiz and Horse & Pony Care

The Pony Club Quiz is taking place on 9th March 2025. Anyone interested in being in a team to please contact Suzanne (Badges@fndponyclub.org.uk). We need senior/junior and mini teams. Last year our minis came 3rd at the finals. You don’t have to be an expert: it’s lots of fun to have with your pony club friends.

Mounted Games Results

Six of our younger members attend the Berwyn & Dee mounted games pairs competition at Maelor on 29th December. Jac Dixon and Tomos Bowen won the Junior Novice A Final, Harri Morgan and Ifan Johnson won the Junior Novice C final and Cai Dixon and Esmay Eastwood were third in the Junior Novice B final. Lots of fun was had by all!

More training has been added to the fixture list over the coming weeks, so please book on if you want to join in the fun at the next friendly competition on 30th March.

Branch Show Jumping Competition

Thank you to all the members who supported the SJ competition at Ystrad. We were so lucky with the weather. A big thank you to everyone who helped during the competition and clearing jumps away. Happy New Year to all F&D members.
