Opportunity for Senior Tetrathlon Riders
A space has become available on the training camp at Bath next weekend. This is open to those who were doing Open or Intermediate Tet in 2024. See attached information and please contact Richard Mosley ASAP.
Show Jumping Training
Dates for SJ training over the summer are on Entry Master. Please email Mari to book on. Groups for all off lead rein.

Winter League Dressage
The last Winter League Dressage competition of the season was held at Higher Farm on Saturday 29th March. It was a sunny day but very cold and windy. The scores on the League were close at the top of the table so it was all to play for!
Belle Hudson took the win in the Walk Trot test and finished 6th in Grassroots. Poppy Miller was 5th in the Novice and Isobel Miller finished 5th in the Intermediate.
The League points have been finalised and will be published on the Area 5 website.
The presentation evening will be held on Friday 25 April 6pm at Penyffordd & Penymynydd War Memorial Institute and tickets can be purchased online.
Dressage Pole Clinic with Stena Horner
We are holding a pole work clinic during the Easter holidays at Ty Mawr with Stena Horner on Thursday 17th April in the morning. The benefits of pole work are extensive, and improvements gained by regular use can be felt both on the flat and over fences.
They can enhance the way of going by using exercises to develop the horses Balance, Rhythm, Straightness and engagement. To book on please email dressage@fndponyclub.org.uk.
Cheshire Hunt South Mounted Games Friendly Competition – Results
It was an early start for our junior novice members on 30th March, after changing the hour, at Higher Farm, Byley.
The Flint and Denbigh Diamonds, consisting of Lyla Leevey, Finley Eastwood, Zara Larminie and Austin Larminie were on brilliant form and won the junior novice session. The Flint and Denbigh Dragons, consisting of Anni Morgan, Harri Morgan, Tomos Bowen, Ifan Johnson and Jac Dixon also did great work to come 3rd in this session.
Catrin Morgan joined the North Shropshire team to win the junior B final, and Helen Jones joined the Cheshire Hunt South team who secured second place in the senior final. Excellent, Catrin and Helen!
Most importantly, all members had a lots of fun!
