Garth South Pony Club Camp is one of the highlights of the year for our members—a week filled with learning, friendship, and unforgettable pony-filled adventures. Set in a welcoming and supportive environment, camp offers riders of all ages and abilities the chance to develop their skills while having fun and building confidence both in and out of the saddle.

This year, camp is proudly based at Wellington Riding, a top-class equestrian venue known for its outstanding facilities. With a wide range of arenas, cross-country courses, and excellent on-site amenities, it provides the perfect setting for a safe, professional, and enjoyable camp experience.

Our camp is thoughtfully structured to suit different age groups:

Junior Camp runs from Friday 24th July 2026 – Sunday 26th July 2026 and is a non-residential experience, making it ideal for younger members. Riders attend during the day to enjoy a full programme of activities, before returning home each evening—offering a great balance of independence and reassurance.

Senior Camp takes place from Sunday 26th July 2026 – Wednesday 29th July 2026 and provides a more immersive Pony Club experience. Members have the option to camp on-site with their ponies, making the most of the venue and creating a fun, sociable atmosphere. Camping is optional, so riders may also travel in each day if preferred.

Each day at camp is carefully planned to provide a varied and engaging programme. Members take part in a wide range of ridden activities, including flatwork, show jumping, cross-country, and mounted games. The excellent facilities at Wellington Riding allow us to offer high-quality training across all disciplines. Instruction is delivered by experienced coaches who work to support and develop every rider, from beginners to those aiming for more advanced levels.

Beyond riding, camp is also about creating lasting memories. Evenings during Senior Camp are filled with social activities, team games, and plenty of laughter, helping to build strong friendships and a real sense of community. Campers also learn valuable life skills through caring for their ponies, as well as developing teamwork, independence, and resilience.

Safety and welfare are at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated team of volunteers and instructors ensure that all members and ponies are well looked after, making full use of the venue’s excellent facilities to create a positive and encouraging environment where everyone can thrive.

Whether it’s your first camp or a much-anticipated return, Garth South Pony Club Camp promises a fantastic few days of learning, fun, and memories to treasure.
