Utilising state of the art simulator technology to perfect riding technique, accuracy and rider position. Simulators are fully interactive and give feedback and analysis for real-time improvement in both flatwork and jumping.
Minimum rider age 10 years, Members only
Sunday 13th September 2026 at Hargate Equestrian Centre
Hobby horse competition to run prior to the ridden dressage competition. Fun hobby horse classes for all abilities. Tiny tots is short and simple for the younger members. Beginners is roughly based on dressage introductory level and starters is roughly based on dressage preliminary level. All hobby horse tests will be carried out in a 5m x 10m arena.
Dressage classes for all – Members and non-Members, children and adults – Lead rein to Novice – Arena Surface – Café on site

Heats start at 40cm for 1st heat (September), age 10 and under, lead rein and non lead rein sections.
Then 50cm for heat 2 (October) in 2 sections, one for age 12 & under, one for 13 and over.
Then 60 in heat 3 (November). And 70 in heat 4 (December). Then Spring Festival qualifier at 80, 90, 100, 110

Novice Junior teams – Riders must not have attained their 11th birthday by the beginning of the current year. The same combination of rider and pony who compete in the Novice Junior are not eligible to compete in any other class. All Novice riders are on lead rein. NO OFF-LEAD REIN RIDERS.
Junior Teams – riders must not have attained their 11th birthday by the beginning of the current year
Seniors Teams – Members must not have attained their 15th birthday by the beginning of the current year.
