Each Branch covers a geographical area and is organised using the Purposes and the Rules of The Pony Club. Every Branch is led by a District Commissioner helped by a Committee of people assigned to specific roles to support the running of the Branch. Please note every member of the Branch Committee is a volunteer, dedicating spare time to support every Member.

Sarah Mosse

District Commissioner
HHNPC DC Mrs Mosse has been involved in Hambledon Hunt North Pony Club for 40 years and has been DC for 30, shown here accepting the Cubbit Award, for her longstanding support to the Pony Club, at the 2024 Royal Windsor Horse Show.

Bev Sawkins

Assistant DC
Alongside supporting Sarah, Bev also organises our Junior camp and our Mini fun rallies like the Rudolf Ride, Teddy bears picnic and the Easter Egg Hunt. Bev has already seen her elder daughter Tasha through the pony club and Ellisia-May is continuing the family’s success. Both Tasha and Ellisia-May have been on the HHN teams. Ellisia-May enjoys show jumping and arena eventing and with her recent success will be representing the HHN at the Spring Festivals.

Julie Collins

Treasurer
Julie has been involved with the HHNPC since her Daughter became a member in 2017. Robin has competed for the club across the disciplines. Some of their highlights have been winning the Ascot Pony Racing and qualifying for the JCB National Championships in Showjumping and Hunter Trials. Julie became treasurer in 2021.

Sian Tiley

Safeguarding Officer
Sian has supported her daughter through many years of pony club and has a background of working in safeguarding.

Claire Richardson

Showjumping and Eventing Coordinator
Claire coordinates the show jumping and eventing competitions and training for riders competing at 90cm and above. Her daughter Lauren competes at Pony Club National Level, showing jumping and dressage and eventing in the Chairman’s Cup and at BE Novice Level.

Georgina Marks

Instructor Representative on Committee
Georgina sits on the committee representing our instructors. You can find more information about Georgina on the Meet the Instructors page. She teaches at our rallies and camps across the age ranges and disciplines when she is not out competing her own homebreds Cracker and Lettuce

Hannah Caunt

Dressage Coordinator, Training Organiser (Spurs & C+ Upwards), Social Media & Show Secretary
Hannah has been involved with horses from a young age, competing in affiliated Showing, Dressage, and Showjumping. She holds an HND in Childhood and Youth Studies and has a real talent for organisation (and a love of a good spreadsheet!), making Pony Club organising a perfect fit. Hannah has been an HHN parent since 2014, when her daughter Maddie joined at just three years old. Maddie has progressed from a Mini member to representing the Branch at Open level and internationally with the PCIA. She is also a member of the HHN Youth Council and is currently working towards her Pony Club Steps to Coaching qualification. Hannah has served on the committee since 2016, taking on a variety of roles including organising rallies and running Junior Camp. She now focuses on Dressage, training and tests for older members, social media, and running our shows. If you’re ever unsure who to contact, Hannah will happily point you in the right direction if she can’t help directly.

Chelsey Babbs

Organiser of Junior camp and PC tests from E-C
Chelsey went through Essex Union South Pony Club, completing The B test and competing in Area teams. She went to Writtle College and achieved a distinction grade in equine management and BHS exams. Then went on to work as head girl at Eventing yards and always had a passion for producing young horses. Chelsey owns a stud and dressage yard, she enjoys competing her stallion Comet and continues her love of producing several exciting young horses. She now enjoys watching her daughter Olivia following in her footsteps at the Hambledon Hunt North with her pony Tulip! (Photo courtesy of Tiffany Simpson)
