Junior Camp and Mini Camp

Junior Camp is aimed at members who are off the lead rein and in control in an open space.

Mini Camp is aimed at members who are on the lead rein or just off the lead rein and parents will need to lead their children.

Members will be put into similar age and ability groups of up to six with a chosen instructor who will be there to guide them for the whole duration of camp. .

As well as cross country, riders enjoy a jam-packed week of instruction including showjumping, flatwork, mounted games, stable management.

We see such great improvement over the week and strong friendships formed.

We have many very capable senior helpers and all of our instructors are first aid trained, safe guard trained and DBS checked.

We ask that your child attends 2 rallies on the horse they intend to ride before attending camp.

Senior Camp

Senior camp is a chance for our riders to come and look after their horses/ponies in a supportive and safe environment. As a residential camp our riders usually come independent of their parents.

It is an exciting time to be in charge of your pony for the first time and the camp is structured to support our first timers staying away, whilst also meeting the needs of our older members looking to fine tune and improve all areas of their riding.

With instructors and stable managers on hand during camp riders benefit hugely from this residential stay.

The days are structured around 2 rides a day with plenty of down time for both the horses and the riders. In the evenings the riders may well play rounders, take part in a friendly and fun quiz and we often have informal and inclusive talks from our instructors.

Senior Camp is suitable for those happy and competent to ride in open spaces, and able to look after their horse or pony. There will be a pre camp meeting prior to the start date and we ask that all parties attend this meeting. We also ask that our members attend 2 rallies on the horse they intend to ride at camp.
