Area 70 and 80 Show Jumping 2024 hosted by HHNPC
Today it was the turn of the 70cm and 80cm Show Jumpers – all trying to qualify for the Regional Championships at the end of the Summer Holidays.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t our day in the 70 Team Show Jumping (Ellisia May F, Holly P, Sienna C, Darcie B) but there was a lot to like from everyone and Holly P and Darcie B qualified for the Regionals as individuals. Well done girls!

The 80cm Jumpers followed straight after with HHNPC represented by Grace S, Sienna R, Chloe W, Amelie B and Katie W. The team finished just out of the placings today, but Sienna R and Amelie B qualified as individuals – well done!

Things didn’t always go as planned for everyone and that’s sport for you (especially horse sport – up one minute and down the next!) but it was so lovely to see the team camaraderie and support and friendship from other club members who were helping at the event – that’s what it’s all about. I was so proud of everyone today!

It was Hambledon Hunt North’s responsibility to run today’s event and a special thank you should be made to Hannah Leonie Caunt (who has spent hours/weeks organising the event) and the committed team of helpers (parents and members) who worked so hard today.

Running such a busy show takes such a lot of effort and organisation – So THANK YOU Hannah Caunt!

What An Achievement

An Incredible Experience

Senior HNNPC Member Lauren B, with the lovely Pasha, was delighted to be chosen to represent Hambledon Hunt North Pony Club at this year’s Royal Windsor Horse Show.

Speaking after her showjumping class, her mother commented, “It wasn’t the result we were hoping for but an amazing experience for us and lots learnt. When we first arrived I thought we had arrived at Glastonbury with everyone being towed in. Thank you to Hannah Caunt for staying to watch us. Thank you [HHNPC Coach] David Thomas for all your help preparing them.”
