Royal Three Counties Show Jumping Win
What an absolutely fantastic day we had at The Royal Three Counties show on Sunday. We took three teams to the Pony Club team show jumping competition and enjoyed an amazing afternoon in glorious sunshine.
We started the afternoon with our 80cm teams. First to go were our senior team of Anya, Nancy and Nyla. Anya was first to go and picked up a fantastic clear round, Nancy followed this with another beautiful clear round which meant the pressure was on for Nyla! She rode beautifully but just had an unfortunate stop. Our junior team of Bea, Olivia and Grace were next to go and they were fantastic!! Olivia had a fab clear round on Mix up and Bea and Grace picked up a couple of poles between them, this still left them in a great finishing spot of team 8th with the senior team just above them in 7th.
Onto the 90cm team of Livvie, Izzy and Emily. They had an interesting time in the warm up with the horses getting used to the big wheel and fairground rides but once they were in the ring they were focused. Izzy was first to go and produced a foot perfect clear round, followed by Emily who did exactly the same!! The pressure was on for Livvie and she kept her cool and rode beautifully to compete another clear round!! This put them in top spot and that is where they stayed!!!! An amazing and very well deserved win for the girls earning them beautiful sashes and a lap of honour!
