JCB Pony Club National Championships 2025

We had a very successful summer of Area Qualifiers for both National and Regional Championships in Dressage, Showjumping, Eventing and Tetrathlon. We had a large number of members attending each Area 7 qualifier and we were thrilled that so many of our members made it to the national and regional champs!

At the JCB National Championships we had a 90cm Eventing team of Emily Walsh, Phoebe Breen and Livvy Hathaway who were fantastic!! The girls rode good strong dressage tests and show jumping rounds and flew around the XC, pulling them up the placings. Emily finished 13th, Livvy 19th and Phoebe 32nd in there sections of over 50 competitors in each section and the team finished 27th!

In the JCB Pony Club Dressage Championships, Izzy Hathaway produced a great 3rd place in their warm up test. n the Open competition Izzy and Queenie completed their test and although they were initially disappointed with 62%, there were some lovely moments and lots of positives to take from the test, especially considering they are only just venturing into competing at this Open level.

In the JCB Junior Tetrathlon Championships, Rohays Hird and Dylan Walsh both produced a decent shoot and swam their best. The Cross Country ride was over a very undulating course with three off sets, a tricky downhill combination, ditch and drop and a four part water complex. Both riders attacked the course with determination and finished well. They finished 7th in the Area Teams competition.

Well done to all our members for such brilliant performances!!
