NAF Pony Club Regional Championships 2025

We had an amazing long weekend at the NAF Pony Club Regional Championships at Kelsall Hill last week.

Our Ludlow squad of qualifiers performed so well and supported each other, the team spirit in the camp was wonderful and complete strangers commented on how well our children cared for their ponies and each other.
We cheered for team Ludlow and all of Area 7 who had some fabulous results.

Some of our stand out performances came form Abyssinia Morgan who came 11th place in the PC70 dressage with Benji. Islay Craig Alliani and Bob went double clear in both the 70cm and 80cm showjumping. Islay kept her nerve to fly round in both jump offs just pipped in the finish, but rode amazingly well! We had Olivia Beaumont and the lovely Mix Up come 6th place in the 70 cm Eventing final. Zara Godwin and Overley Stormbreaker were 5th place in the 80cm Eventing. Both ponies flew round cross country and we all cheered so much they could hear us in the commentary box!

But the absolute star of the show was Izzy Archer Gwilliam who won her section in the 70cm eventing, what a fantastic achievement for her and Cheeky Charlie. Happy tears were cried, such a super performance, we are all so proud of you both!!

Thank you Rosie Thomas for coursewalking and encouragement and to all our instructors who came to the Area qualifiers and helped warm up our members and course walk with them for the various events. As ever we would also like to thank all our fabulous parents and friends for their wonderful support at all of our events!!
