Team Show Jumping at Rodbaston

We had a fantastic turnout for our trip up to Rodbaston to represent The Ludlow in the area 7 Show jumping.  We took no less than six teams made up of 11 members.

We started off with the 50cm class and Hector Hird had a fantastic fast clear round to finish in 4th place. Grace and Olive Windsor Clive rode fantastically in a big arena with lots of spectators, very daunting for their first show with us.  We are all very proud of them

Next up was the 60cm and Hector, Abyssinia, George and Islay Craig Aliani had beautiful clear rounds to finish in team 3rd.

We then moved onto the 70cm and we had two teams! Oscar and Patch, Anya and Monty and Islay and Puzzle making up one team – they all had brilliant fast rounds and came first in the teams competition

Oscar and Leo, Isla Hill, Rohays and Abyssinia were also all fantastic and they picked up team 4th.

We finished the day with a very big and beefy 80-85cm class. We had a few poles but our team made up of just two members- Oscar and Anya came 6th and picked up another beautiful rosette

Thank you to everybody that came and took part and helped me for my first outing as SJ team manager, I really appreciate the support and look forward to many more fun days together
