Whether you are completely new to the Pony Club or grew up with it yourself, we encourage you to read all about the many benefits of membership, including a generous third party personal liability insurance which exists for all activities. Membership is open to anyone up to the age of 25 years old.
FACILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Here at Mid Surrey, our Pony Club field and barn is our base, a fantastic training venue for cross country (45cm-1m), show jumping and dressage. Throughout the year we run lots of great activities for our members, ranging in age from 3 years and up, including mounted and unmounted holiday rallies (1.5hrs of instruction, grouped by ability and free of charge), competitions in all disciplines and at all levels, as well as the opportunity to join one of the many teams who represent Mid Surrey at Inter-Branch events. We pride ourselves in being fully inclusive and non-selective.
TRAINING & CAMPS
Members are given lots of opportunity to train, learn and work towards Pony Club Badges and Tests, including stable management and road safety. Our camps are a highlight of the year where a great many friends for life are made. Mini Camp (8 years and younger) is a 3 night stay in our barn and Junior/Senior Camp (9 years and older) is a 5 night stay at an external venue. The year-round programme at Mid Surrey is a busy one, including picnic rides and trips to the beach!
RIDING OR NON-RIDING
A Riding Branch Membership requires you to have access to a horse or pony, by ownership, loan or share, and have the means to transport the horse or pony to and from rallies and events. There are also many competitions to take part in for those with a Non-Riding Branch Membership, who do not have access to a horse or pony, and we encourage one and all to join.
