Rain, Rain, Blenheim Palace and more rain

Wow It was an incredible day for Minchinhampton Pony Club who had the privilege to compete at Blenheim Palace!

Our 90cm team including Maisie H, Charlotte G, Poppy T and Beaufort Hunt member Lucy C all jumped fabulous rounds to finish on a team score of 0 – placing overall 2nd out of 31 teams! Maisie H was also noted to be in the top 5 individually out of over 100+ competitors on a new horse. Well done girls, a fabulous and very well deserved result.

Following the 90cm was a HUGE downpour which had everyone soaked to the skin our 100cm team including Merri B, Livvy A and Cotswold Hunt member Levi D all gave it their best shot in very testing conditions. All 3 girls rode excellently and made sensible decisions with the horses being their first priority.

Livvy completed the round with 8faults + some time faults meanwhile Merri and Levi felt it was in their horses best interests to retire.

We are so proud of the great team spirit and horsemanship that was shown today, hopefully the sun will come out for it next year!
