NFHPC Teams Shine at Area Horse & Pony Care Competition!

NFHPC Teams Shine at Area Horse & Pony Care Competition, with sights now set on the National Championships!

Two teams represented NFHPC at this year’s Blue Cross UK Area Horse & Pony Care competition hosted by the Tedworth Pony Club.

Both our mini and junior teams upheld incredibly high standards, turning out looking super smart, they really did our branch proud.

The minis team, comprising of Amelia, Bella, and Isla, secured 4th place in a field of 11 competitive teams. They caught the eye of the assessors with their good knowledge, attention to detail, and their immaculate turnout, earning them praise and recognition at the competition.

Our juniors team, consisting of Chris, Georgina, and Milly, clinched 1st place and secured their spot at the National Championship at Offchurch Bury in August. Congratulations on an incredible achievement.

Christina was recognised not only for her extensive equine knowledge but also awarded the rosette for the most knowledgeable and politest competitor.

What a fantastic effort our teams put into this. Participating in all those badge rallies has really paid off.

Behind the scenes, the success of the NFHPC teams can be attributed to the dedication of Sue, our DC, and our coaches. With special thanks extended to Inès for her practical training sessions and to Tori for her coaching session, alongside all the coaches involved in the D, D+, C, C+ test rallies, whose collective efforts have clearly helped win the day!

Thank you to the organisers Tedworth PC for hosting such a successful day, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.
